Liz Charles is part of a team conducting physics education research at Dawson College, Montreal, Canada. Two of the physics labs at the College have recently undergone a major renovation inspired by your SCALE-UP classrooms and grounded in social constructivist principles. In a nutshell, our research team is studying how teachers’ pedagogy begins to take up the designed affordances of these environments to improve student learning.
