Twenty faculty are currently or will soon be teaching in the space. General biology and ecology students at UND were the first to be exposed to the SCALE-UP class. Now Anatomy, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, History, and Physics are taught. The UND Biology Departmentâs implementation of SCALE-UP is unique in the simultaneous conversion of the entire core curriculum to this approach. Here is an article discussing their research.
